Prepare the Heat Press and Material
Start by preheating your heat press to the recommended temperature for your material and transfer type. While the machine heats up, ensure your material (like a t-shirt) is clean, flat, and free of moisture. Proper preparation is key to achieving smooth and professional results.
Position the Design Carefully
Place your transfer sheet on the material, aligning it to the desired position. Use heat-resistant tape to secure the design if necessary, ensuring it won’t move during pressing. For DTF prints, ensure the transfer side is facing down on the fabric.
Press and Finish the Design
Close the heat press firmly to apply even pressure. Set the timer according to the transfer instructions and allow the machine to work. Once the time is up, carefully open the press and let the material cool slightly before peeling off the transfer sheet.
